Welcoming Renuka Rawlins as Yaspa’s new Head of Policy and Public Affairs

We’re delighted to announce that Renuka Rawlins has joined Yaspa as our new head of policy and public affairs.

Renuka Rawlins

Renuka brings a wealth of experience from her time at Revolut, where she worked as a Government Affairs and Policy Manager. At Yaspa, she will be based in our London head office and will lead our Policy and Public Affairs team.

Her focus will be on strengthening Yaspa’s relationships with regulators in the UK, EU and beyond. She’ll also play a vital role in shaping industry dialogue, working with policymakers and industry partners to highlight how Yaspa’s open banking technology and AI-driven solutions can help regulated businesses thrive.

Our Intelligent Payments platform - which combines real-time bank payments with verified customer insights - is already helping iGaming operators meet compliance obligations, promote safer gambling and deliver seamless player experiences. Renuka’s expertise will help us further demonstrate the value of our technology across payments and adjacent industries.

This announcement follows a busy summer for Yaspa. Last month, we secured $12m in new investment led by Discerning Capital, and we recently expanded our UK footprint with a new tech hub in Leeds. We’ve also taken an important step in our international journey by incorporating in the US and opening our new office in Atlanta, Georgia.

Since being founded in 2017 by our CEO James Neville, formerly CTO at Worldpay, Yaspa has grown rapidly. Over the past 18 months alone, our team has expanded from 15 to 70 people. With Renuka on board, we’re excited to continue building momentum as we scale globally.
