As part of Safer Gambling Week, Yaspa’s Head of Product, Max Collinge, hosted a conversation with Dr. Kasra Ghaharian, Director of Research, specialising in data science and AI modelling at the International Gaming Institute, University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Simo Dragicevic, board advisor to the Responsible Gambling Council and the GB Gambling Commission (UKGC), on how AI and open banking is helping to promote responsible gambling.

During the webinar, the trio discussed how the iGaming industry has evolved to use machine learning approaches to identify markers of harm. They also unpacked the opportunities that AI, when combined with open banking payments, provides to enable safer gambling for players and operators.
