Press release: Novibet is launching Citizen's instant bank payments in Ireland

London/Athens, Monday 16 January 2023 - Leading online betting company Novibet has partnered with fintech company Citizen to strengthen its offering to its customers following their launch in the Irish gaming sector last year. Citizen’s cardless payment technology will provide faster, safer gaming transactions, including account-to-account (A2A) deposits and withdrawals, to Novibet’s customers based in Ireland, offering them more ways to make online payments securely.

“As we strengthen our presence in the Irish market, with more content, features and services, our offering is further enhanced by our collaboration with Citizen. In all our markets of operation it is our priority to provide secure and fast transactions; a service that is highly valued by our members. Now, our collaboration with Citizen enables us to also provide deposits and withdrawals via banks, on Novibet.ie, through their trusted platform, providing an even wider selection of payment methods to our members.” Lambros Sialmas, COO, Novibet

Citizen's CEO, James Neville, added: “This is an exciting time to be partnering with Novibet as they expand into new markets and evolve their product offering for their customers based in Ireland. We’re delighted that Citizen’s cardless payment technology will enhance their customers’ experience, providing them with more ways to manage funds instantly, with ease and confidence through their banks’ own secure environments. Our PayBlox platform is highly configurable and ideally suited to businesses that need to shape the technology to their needs. As Novibet’s product offering is constantly evolving in response to new market demands, we’re partnering up at a perfect time.”
